Requirements

Candidates must possess exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content. A minimum of three years of grant writing and editing experience is required, particularly with successful scientific grants for NSF, DARPA, and/or NIH. A PhD or equivalent experience in a technical area such as statistics, programming languages, machine learning, computational neuroscience, cognitive science, physics, or mathematics is necessary. Technical proficiency in mathematical concepts and an interest in Basis' core research areas, including probabilistic programming and causal inference, is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate versatile communication skills and a collaborative spirit, along with a genuine passion for AI and its societal implications.
