Ability to analyze 2D CAD material reports (Assembly file)
Experience in developing technical drawings with external suppliers and cross-functional teams (DRE, 2D, SCM, Manufacturing)
Knowledge of requesting and registering part numbers in Aptiv Global GSD DB
Proficiency with LOCOTO software for uploading documents
Familiarity with IQRF and DSR forms for SCM requests
Understanding of Aptiv's processes for Sub-Assembly* part numbers and global sourcing documentation

Responsibilities

Analyzing 2D CAD material reports (Assembly file) and identifying the need for new Sub-Assembly* part numbers and design
Developing Sub-Assembly* technical drawings with external suppliers and cross-functional teams (DRE, 2D, SCM, Manufacturing)
Requesting Sub-Assembly* Aptiv part numbers and registering technical drawings and supplier part numbers in Aptiv Global GSD DB
Maintaining tracking of all Sub-Assembly* part numbers to avoid creating duplicates for the same configurations
Supporting Manufacturing teams with alternatives and Sub-Assembly* technical details
Filling out and submitting IQRF and DSR forms according to SCM requests for material global sourcing documentation fulfillment
Uploading new components assembly manuals, product information, application data, and storage manuals in Aptiv Global GSD DB using LOCOTO software as requested from external suppliers
