Requirements

  • Ability to analyze 2D CAD material reports (Assembly file)

  • Proficiency with LOCOTO software for uploading documents

  • Understanding of Aptiv's processes for Sub-Assembly* part numbers and global sourcing documentation

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing 2D CAD material reports (Assembly file) and identifying the need for new Sub-Assembly* part numbers and design
  • Developing Sub-Assembly* technical drawings with external suppliers and cross-functional teams (DRE, 2D, SCM, Manufacturing)
  • Requesting Sub-Assembly* Aptiv part numbers and registering technical drawings and supplier part numbers in Aptiv Global GSD DB
  • Maintaining tracking of all Sub-Assembly* part numbers to avoid creating duplicates for the same configurations
  • Supporting Manufacturing teams with alternatives and Sub-Assembly* technical details
  • Filling out and submitting IQRF and DSR forms according to SCM requests for material global sourcing documentation fulfillment
  • Uploading new components assembly manuals, product information, application data, and storage manuals in Aptiv Global GSD DB using LOCOTO software as requested from external suppliers
