Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
- Minimum of 5 years of SAP VIM experience & preferably FICO experience
- Demonstrated commitment to growing VIM capabilities through training, certifications, and mentoring of team members
- Functional and technical proficiency in SAP applications-related work
- Solid industry experience, and/or consulting experience
- Strong leadership and management experience
- Problem investigating, estimating, proposing alternative solutions, addressing security considerations, etc
- Ability to understand clients' business and objectives
- High-performing, "can-do" attitude: adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness; results-oriented, self-starter, and critical thinker
- Ability to work in both an individual and a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge (SAP FICO and VIM) to solve application issues, incidents, and problems with moderate to high risk/complexity
- Provide specific technical expertise and skills in problem investigating, estimating, proposing alternative solutions, addressing security considerations, etc
- Provide leadership and direction to team members working on a specific application
- Provide technical expertise for the application and be versed in the application's functions and interfaces
- Coordinate work assignments and activities within the team, and be a subject-matter expert of the work domain
- Provide technical support and input on the application of technology, and advice on solution and integration opportunities
- Communicate across client community appropriate to scope of technical understanding, and in coordination with client delivery management
- Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create superior solutions for DXC and for customers
- Build SAP FICO and VIM capabilities in the department, including growing self and others via training, certifications, cross-skilling, and mentoring of other consultants
- Manage a team responsible for package software application development
- Coordinate project execution and allocate resources efficiently
- Collaborate with senior management to define team/account or departmental goals
- Ensure the timely delivery of software solutions
- Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Facilitate collaboration with other departments
