Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a B.E/B.Tech Graduation, or the equivalent of 12 years professional experience in IT Applications development and support. Experience with SAP ABAP Language Development, HANA, Cloud Application Program Model, and Resful Programming is required, along with familiarity within a manufacturing/distribution environment in an IT development capacity.
Responsibilities
The SAP Technical Specialist/Architect will facilitate the delivery and support of the development portion of projects/programs within specified functional area(s), coordinating and leading technical/functional development and support of IT applications. This includes design, build, and deployment of UI5/Fiori reports, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, enhancements, and potentially SAP Portal development, ABAP, SAP UI5/Fiori, and JAVA web-dynpro. The role involves collaborating with the business to understand requirements, performing planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions, providing support for complex environments, and driving medium to large-sized projects. Additionally, the position requires meeting with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, ensuring compatibility and interoperability of systems, and conducting research on software products to support purchasing efforts.
