Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA / SAP Basis Administration
5+ years of experience in SAP Basis and HANA administration
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA DB
Experience in system installations, upgrades, and migrations
Strong experience with transport management and CTS+
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, SAP RISE) is a plus
SAP HANA administration and performance tuning
Linux/Unix OS administration
Database backup and recovery strategies
Strong troubleshooting skills for SAP kernel, ABAP/JAVA stack
Strong communication and collaboration with IT infra and SAP teams
Ability to work in mission-critical production support
Problem-solving and structured documentation skills
Ability to work under pressure in tight project timelines

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and HANA databases
Manage system copies, refreshes, and client strategy
Implement transport management and change control procedures
Ensure system availability, high performance, and scalability
Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, RFCs, interfaces, and spool issues
Work closely with functional and technical teams during implementations and upgrades
Support disaster recovery planning and testing
Implement security patches, system hardening, and compliance requirements
Provide ongoing production support and root cause analysis for incidents
Document and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
