Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
  • Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment, highly preferred
  • Ability to talk or hear regularly
  • Ability to use hands and fingers with controlled dexterity to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls frequently
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and taste/smell often
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Remove all trash and debris from the warehouse and dock areas
  • Clean up any spills of product or other foreign matter
  • Operate power scrubber, sweeper, walk behind scrubber, and other warehouse equipment
  • Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, etc
  • Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots, etc
  • Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms
  • Follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor
  • Perform the job following Preferred Work Methods (PWM)
