Requirements

  • 5+ years email marketing experience as a primary focus using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
  • 3+ years of experience on AWS Lambda
  • 5+ years of experience on Python
  • 5+ years coding AMPscript
  • Core understanding of how metrics are derived and how they relate to and impact performance
  • Ability to code without using a WYSIWYG interface
  • Knowledge of email A/B testing, personalization, and customization
  • Knowledge of email best practices and optimization
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop to modify images
  • Thorough understanding of data extensions, subscriber imports, and group creation based on data filters
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • 3+ years with Salesforce CRM report creation
  • Knowledge of the Jira project management software
  • Microsoft Excel data manipulation (vLookups)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with frequent last-minute changes
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to instantaneously adapt to changing priorities
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio (formerly ExactTarget), Journey Builder, Mobile connect for push and SMS, Einstein, AMP script coding, and hand-coding HTML and CSS without relying on a WYSIWYG editor

Responsibilities

  • Quickly and accurately build, edit, and test templates and emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio (formerly ExactTarget)
  • Frequently code and modify AMP script
  • Metrics tracking and reporting on individual emails and campaigns
  • Hand code HTML and CSS (does not rely solely on a WYSIWYG interface to code)
  • Create Journey Builder forms and Web Studio Cloud Pages
  • Work closely with the email team, external departments, and third-party vendors with program, project, and task management
  • Creation and modification of global and local content blocks
  • Data extensions: define requirements, formatting, uploads, and troubleshooting
  • Create conditional logic
