Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, demonstrating leadership in 3+ platform implementation projects. Familiarity with common Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations, including CMS, DAM, CDP, Web Analytics, Data Visualization tools, and client databases, is preferred. Deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, and Journey Builder, along with knowledge of Salesforce CDP and Loyalty, is desired. Experience as a data modeler in relational database systems and proficiency in SQL queries, including multi-table joins, is required. Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining data structures, data extensions, and automations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud is also necessary.
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect will lead discovery efforts to gather information from clients and internal team members, translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, and lead platform configuration and development of digital marketing campaigns across channels. They will oversee development, testing, and deployment of platform work, provide support to development teams, create architecture and technical specifications documents, and serve as a day-to-day technical platform SME for internal and client teams. Additionally, the Architect will work closely with project management to manage workflow and deadlines, provide support to internal execution services team for optimizations, and support senior team members with project estimation and road mapping engagements.
