Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship for employment visas)
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience selling through distributors or channel partners
  • Experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, channel sales or system integration
  • Experience selling digital transformation solutions, IIoT and industry 4.0 offerings
  • Knowledge of the Integrator Ecosystem for software and hardware solution delivery
  • Executive sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the account strategy for Information Software, IoT and core hardware portfolio within selected accounts and work with Channel Partners
  • Collaborate with Rockwell Information Software (IS) Account Rep Team for Lead Generation, IS Sales resources and regional solution consultants, and Rockwell Sales pursuit desk
  • Work with Channel Partners to qualify customer opportunities, engage the appropriate resources and coordinate the solution design to influence the customer's decision process and present solutions to the customer
  • Coordinate with Channel Partner and Rockwell Automation account team, senior management and a technical engagement team (domain experts) to plan for and win identified opportunities
  • Help build Information Software competency with Channel Partners
  • Establish relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base and understand customer process, goals and organizational models
  • Follow the Rockwell Automation sales process: know assigned accounts, plan for growth, maintain a healthy funnel, lead opportunities to closure and evaluate performance to goal
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with Channel partners to accelerate and identify growth opportunities to exceed annual sales goals
  • Lead the Channel strategy for Information Software and IoT solutions, coordinating efforts between Rockwell, partners and selected accounts
  • Focus on opportunistic pursuits, new business, conversion of new business, identifying and closing new contracts and deals
