Requirements

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • US citizen with valid US Passport (to comply with ITAR)
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations, industry-specific safety practices, and other relevant standards
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs
  • Skills in conducting thorough investigations and identifying root causes of incidents
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential hazards
  • Preferred: Aerospace industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver safety trainings for a 24/7 manufacturing site
  • Lead investigations after incidents, including near misses, safety incidents, or property damage
  • Foster a positive safety culture through communication, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and other relevant data
  • Regularly inspect the facility, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance
  • Ensure all equipment SQA uses follows OSHA standards and policies
  • Communicate to appropriate personnel when not in compliance
