Strong ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets
Adept with Statistical techniques (e.g., forecasting/modeling, optimization models), Machine Learning (e.g., GBM, Decision Trees), AI techniques (e.g., Deep Learning)
Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate ideas and results to non-technical businesspeople
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Relevant experience in the required domain (healthcare analytics)
Good to have: Ability to leverage design thinking, business process optimization, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Provide strategic advisory services, conduct market research, and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance
Conduct data wrangling and analysis on healthcare claims, provider datasets, and publicly available health data
Develop predictive models using data science and AI techniques to address client needs
Utilize natural language processing (NLP) capabilities to extract insights from unstructured data sources
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement analytics solutions effectively
Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable strategies
Handle day-to-day activities for making deliverables to the client
Act as a Data Scientist for data handling, extraction, manipulation; creating structured data and pulling tangible insights
Take inputs from Manager/Consultant to develop statistical models (predictive modeling, forecasting) and apply techniques such as Exploratory Analysis, Regression, Segmentation
Prepare summary of results for in-house discussion and take feedback
Develop executive dashboards to present analytical insights using tools like Tableau, Power BI
