Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning applied to robotics is required, along with experience in deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, JAX, or TensorFlow. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for model development and data storage is essential. A strong understanding of state-of-the-art research in robot learning and the challenges of deploying neural network models in real-world scenarios is necessary. Candidates should also be capable of writing high-quality software and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

The Robotics Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate on the design and development of the Persona ML software stack, supporting its application in manipulation, navigation, locomotion, and perception. They will work with the ML team to create and execute a comprehensive plan for developing machine learning models while staying updated on the latest research. The engineer will also develop, test, and deploy software, machine learning pipelines, and data collection pipelines, monitor and evaluate the performance of models in real-world settings, and collaborate with universities and other companies to enhance the team.
