Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • A minimum of one-year warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to operate a pallet jack
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to read batch labels
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Must be team oriented and able to get along with others
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures of 100+ degrees and below freezing

Responsibilities

  • Wrap all outbound orders in designated loading zones in compliance with company procedures and standards to ensure safe and organized product for deliveries
  • Build pallets according to preferred methods and wrap from bottom to top to avoid damage during transport
  • Notify supervisor of any issues
  • Complete work in a productive and timely manner, keeping pallets wrapped according to dispatch times to avoid hindering loader productivity
  • Verify header labels are in upper right-hand corner for easy loader location
  • Ensure work area is free of debris at all times
  • Help loaders by unloading trailers staged in doors (pallets, blankets, straps, debris); raise door, lock trailer to dock, and lower dock plate
  • Ensure Robo wrappers are clean and in good operational condition; avoid excess shrink wrap buildup, do not cut wrap from rollers with box cutter, do not place stickers on equipment, and wipe down at end of shift
  • Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area
