Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma and at least 4 years of experience in transportation or motor carrier operations. Preference will be given to those with technical school certification and knowledge of commercial vehicle components and common failure reasons. Strong written and verbal communication, basic computer skills, customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are required. Diesel mechanic, trailer mechanic, or ThermoKing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Roadside Assistance Coordinator will receive inbound calls, diagnose mechanical issues over the phone, and communicate clearly with all parties involved. Responsibilities include routing drivers to authorized repair facilities, informing Operations about service interruptions, identifying warrantable repairs and filing claims, and processing invoices for approval. Additional duties as assigned may include incident investigation and documentation.
