Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in risk, security, compliance, vendor management or audit, preferably with a financial institution or payment card company
  • Preferred: Understanding of inherent risks, controls and residual risks and/or risk assessments of entities in financial or payment industry
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action
  • Excellent customer service and customer support skills
  • Experience with successful support of internal customers and suppliers
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative, and ability to operate effectively as a team player
  • Flexibility and ability to think creatively and to identify new ways to approach old problems
  • Strong analytical background
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Preferably experience in risk management or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential risks affecting the product portfolio
  • Analyze inputs/data to detect emerging risks and potential threats
  • Work across the organization to ensure strategies are created and implemented to minimize the impact of identified risks
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts and update plans as necessary
  • Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders
  • Keep accurate and current records of all risk management activities
  • Work closely with product managers to integrate risk management process
  • Assist in the collection of risk related metrics
  • Assist partners in risk related projects as necessary
  • Track progress towards risk mitigations
