Responsibilities

Assemble, maintain, inspect, and repair all product purchased and serviced through the service department for specialized equipment, meeting athlete needs and in accordance with company and vendor standards
Assist with everyday services for bikes, including minor to advanced repairs, repairing/replacing parts, fitting accessories (lights, pannier racks, cycle computers), routine safety checks, cleaning, degreasing, and lubricating bicycles and components
Perform services for snow equipment, including base cleaning, sharpening, waxing, brushing, polishing, preparation, detuning tips/tails, diagnosing faults, damage, and wear to provide accurate estimates and educate athletes on essential or recommended repairs
Assemble new equipment and partner with lead to perform quality checks before handing off to the explorer
Understand athletes' behavior, assess needs, and recommend products/services that meet those specific needs
Support company standards of selling and customer service by providing a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every athlete, and maintaining solid product knowledge
Assist and recommend athletes with the purchase of accessories as needed
Identify and inform management of ways to improve shop workflow, growing productivity while maintaining or improving quality of services
Preserve complete and accurate shop records and maintain record-keeping systems
