Requirements

  • Assist with oversight of staff and maintaining staffing levels to grid
  • Ensure all shifts are staffed and can accommodate capacity of program
  • Participate in recruitment activities including posting positions, hiring, and onboarding new staff
  • Complete introductory and annual evaluations
  • Ensure patients attend group and documentation is entered if absent
  • Oversee patient rounds entry into medical records and provide RCS training on rounding
  • Ensure medication protocols are followed and action plans created for Qstatim entries
  • Provide direct cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services to patients per clinical standards
  • Support clinical staff in orienting to assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for CBT services
  • Maintain consistent service delivery for CBT patients per standards of care
  • Develop program materials (handouts, fact sheets, manuals) with manager/director
  • Participate in weekly supervision sessions and ongoing communication on clinical issues
  • Offer training, support, and coaching to staff on CBT model
  • Participate in Rogers’ program research activities
  • Document clinical supervision
  • Assure documentation of treatment plans, hierarchies, psychosocial info, and medical record completeness
  • Conduct periodic record audits for CBT patient documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Communicate with aftercare providers for continuity of care
  • Communicate with Utilization Review for payment facilitation
  • Establish/maintain communication with clinical supervisors on CBT programming
  • Involve with managed care companies and coordinate with utilization review as needed
  • Maintain updated knowledge of policies/procedures for patient/employee safety, emergency/evacuation plans
  • Complete daily safety rounds (rounds board, sanitation, RCC/CBRF codes, door locks, alarms)
  • Complete maintenance reports
  • Complete documents and Qstatim for injuries to employees/visitors with appropriate response
  • Maintain updated knowledge in life-sustaining techniques and emergency first aid
  • Maintain safety and confidentiality of patients and records
  • Evaluate residents and communicate observed safety behaviors to staff
  • Intervene appropriately to maintain resident safety
  • Use knowledge of potential indicators of dangerous behavior
  • Communicate/report pertinent data to manager/director, physician, and treatment team, discerning immediate attention needs
