High school diploma or equivalent, plus four years related mental health experience
Demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to excellence in care
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a mental health, health, or other appropriate human services related discipline (preferred)
Knowledge of and experience with the chronic mentally ill adult population (preferred)
Spanish proficiency (preferred, for additional $1.50/hour)

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, fostering a supportive and caring environment
Provide assistance and guidance to residents in daily living activities, including personal care, meal planning, and household chores
Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents
Facilitate group activities and therapeutic programs that promote skill development, socialization, and community integration
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents’ progress, incidents, and any significant observations
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including residential supervisor, nurse, director, and medical professionals
