Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree potentially substituting for some experience. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and R or Python for statistical programming, advanced training in fields such as health services research, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or econometrics, and a Master's or PhD in statistics, mathematics, or computer science. Excellent quantitative analysis abilities grounded in econometrics, health services research, epidemiology, statistics, or related fields are essential, along with demonstrated ability in conducting nuanced analyses, attention to detail with version control and quality assurance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with equity and inclusion principles and causal inference methods is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Research Scientist will guide intervention strategy and development in AI-driven patient outreach, evaluate the impact of population health interventions, and utilize innovative methods to address business questions. Responsibilities include designing and executing analyses using diverse data sources, leading efforts to identify analysis priorities, synthesizing results, and translating findings into action. The role also involves supervising junior colleagues, developing analytic products, and collaborating with engineering and product partners to enable analytic solutions. Additionally, the scientist will contribute to making Aledade better through active engagement in initiatives beyond their immediate team.
