The anticipated base salary range is $80,000 to $110,000, with final salary based on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan.
The position will be based in Washington, DC.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in journalism, policy, economics, or business, along with 3+ years of experience as a reporter or editor, ability to develop sources on a new beat, ability to identify and analyze data sets, and proficiency in Excel.

A strong candidate has a proven ability to learn a technical beat quickly, develop news sense for market-moving news, build diverse sources among private sector companies, and experience covering commodities or metals is preferred.
