Requirements

  • High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate
  • Working towards College diploma or University degree in an Engineering or trades program of study; enrolled in 3rd/4th year of Program
  • Mechanical or related program is preferred
  • 8–12-month commitment period
  • No previous Reliability Engineering experience required
  • Any working experience in Engineering, Maintenance or Facilities department in a Manufacturing company preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Reliability Engineering Team/Manager to develop and implement processes and procedures to establish a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) culture and improve equipment performance and reliability
  • Provide constant support on new tools and methods to make the maintenance group more reliability-focused and proactive
  • Develop, generate, and report on Reliability & Equipment Maintenance KPIs (using PowerBI or related applications) for critical manufacturing assets
  • Support work execution management elements, including MRO Spares, PM optimization, Bill of Materials, and CMMS Readiness
  • Implement, assist, support, and help build maintenance optimization reviews of asset criticality, functional importance, duty cycle, and best-practice maintenance activities (e.g., Predictive Maintenance – Vibration analysis, IR Thermography)
  • Support and work on improvement projects (PPI), Reliability Engineering projects, and processes
  • Develop the use of asset criticality matrix and spare parts criticality analysis ranking tools
  • Ensure on-line database of all associated project documentation is saved per proper documentation practices for easy retrieval
  • Provide clerical, physical, and administrative support for site audits, Equipment Failure tracking (Deviation Records), change controls, filling associated forms and routing for approvals, project specifications, records management, and spare parts inventory management
