The position is located at Avera Cancer Institute-Sioux Falls and is PRN part-time with rotating days/evenings/weekends, primarily M-F 5-9PM and Sat-Sun 9AM-3PM. No night shifts are required.
Key responsibilities include triaging and assessing oncology patients, administering treatments and transfusions, developing nursing care plans, providing patient education, and maintaining a safe care environment. Skills involve oncology nursing, patient assessment, care coordination, and adherence to protocols.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward, delivering high-quality care in an oncology setting.
Operations are targeted to begin in Q1 2026 (exact date TBD), supporting extended hours oncology care. Strong candidates have oncology nursing experience, availability for evenings/weekends, and skills in patient triage, infusions, and care planning.
