The position is located at Avera Cancer Institute-Sioux Falls and involves rotating days/evenings/weekends with hours M-F 5-9PM and Sat-Sun 9AM-3PM. No night shifts are required, though additional daytime shifts may be available.
Key responsibilities include triaging and assessing oncology patients, administering treatments and transfusions, developing nursing care plans, providing patient education, and maintaining a safe care environment. Required skills involve patient assessment, care planning, coordination with healthcare teams, and adherence to infection-control and medication protocols.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for patients, where you work where you matter.
Operations are targeted to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with exact start date to be determined. Strong candidates have oncology nursing experience, availability for evening/weekend hours, and skills in patient triage, care planning, and infusion treatments in a compassionate team setting.
