This is an onsite position.
Candidates need a registered nurse license in good standing from the State Board of Nursing in the state of employment, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification (within 30 days of hire), and formal training in management of the aggressive patient (within 60 days of hire). A Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred, along with previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults.
The schedule is 16-28 hours per week, with PM Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) and NOC Shift (11:00pm-7:30am) available, and open to 8- or 12-hour shifts.
Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults is preferred, and for Child/Adolescent Day Treatment programs, training in psychiatric nursing or one year of experience in a clinical setting with these children is required.
