Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
2+ years of safety or technician experience in the energy or industrial sectors
Familiar with OSHA, ISO, ANSI, and other safety and quality standards
Skilled at coaching teams, conducting audits, and implementing safety improvements
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
Comfortable traveling up to 40% and working outdoors when needed
Experience with LMS platforms, Maximo, or audit tools is a plus
Spanish or French language skills are a bonus
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport

Responsibilities

Support technicians by promoting safe work practices, conducting safety observations and drills, standardizing OJT and PPE/tool use, coordinating training, and sharing best practices across sites and regions
Partner with Site Managers to identify improvement opportunities, provide safety guidance, support audits and training sessions, ensure accurate LMS documentation, and strengthen site safety committees
Support corporate safety through incident investigations and root-cause analysis, driving lessons learned, conducting annual safety audits, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal standards, and assisting with site-specific safety programs (LOTO, confined space, emergency response, etc.)
Maintain thorough documentation of safety activities, act as a liaison between sites and corporate teams after incidents, and collaborate with HR on clinic partnerships and emergency action plan updates
