Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2+ years of safety or technician experience in the energy or industrial sectors
  • Familiar with OSHA, ISO, ANSI, and other safety and quality standards
  • Skilled at coaching teams, conducting audits, and implementing safety improvements
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
  • Comfortable traveling up to 40% and working outdoors when needed
  • Experience with LMS platforms, Maximo, or audit tools is a plus
  • Spanish or French language skills are a bonus
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport

Responsibilities

  • Support technicians by promoting safe work practices, conducting safety observations and drills, standardizing OJT and PPE/tool use, coordinating training, and sharing best practices across sites and regions
  • Partner with Site Managers to identify improvement opportunities, provide safety guidance, support audits and training sessions, ensure accurate LMS documentation, and strengthen site safety committees
  • Support corporate safety through incident investigations and root-cause analysis, driving lessons learned, conducting annual safety audits, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal standards, and assisting with site-specific safety programs (LOTO, confined space, emergency response, etc.)
  • Maintain thorough documentation of safety activities, act as a liaison between sites and corporate teams after incidents, and collaborate with HR on clinic partnerships and emergency action plan updates
