Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a regional team (4 individual contributors)
  • Set direction and clear goals for the team
  • Provide candid and timely feedback to the team
  • Have professional development discussions with the team
  • Facilitate communication between business areas, shared service centers and finance teams
  • Review and approve reports and activities performed by the team
  • Ensure timely and accurate month end closing activities in compliance with accounting standards
  • Partnership with GBS Mexico sites Managers and below, looking to improve quality and regional standardization
  • Review the EBIT bridges and analyze variations related to productive material inventories
  • Evaluate contribution margin fluctuations and coordinate with finance teams
  • Provide guidance and technical expertise to resolve accounting issues
  • Support ICFR/SOX testing’s, findings and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Validate Product Line Profitability results and compare them with monthly accounting results
  • Balance Sheet Variance Analysis
  • Monthly & Quarterly reporting requests review and approval
  • Ensure functional and processes alignment with Accounting Policies for design, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and payments operations
  • Statutory Audit Reports
  • Facilitate the communication between GM teams with EY
  • Support EY on its information requests
  • Focal point and owner for its areas of responsibility with statutory financials and audits related matters
  • Coordinate with Intercompany team to clear all imbalances during the closing
