Requirements

  • Skilled and motivated Engineer
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines, Laydown Yard procedures, and Supply Chain policies and procedures
  • Understanding of materials management systems, computer hardware, and software
  • Familiarity with Lean and 6S practices
  • Knowledge of proper Contracting procedures for Vendors and Service Providers
  • Ability to conduct or assist with annual site assessments
  • Capability to coordinate cycle inventories, clear discrepancies, and maintain records

Responsibilities

  • Promote and support a Zero Harm culture and positive culture, demonstrating highest standards of ethical behavior and supporting Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy
  • Foster collaborative relationships with Transmission Business Partners to align materials with internal customer needs
  • Supervise full-time and Staff Augmentation employees, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines, Laydown Yard procedures, and Supply Chain policies
  • Conduct or assist with annual site assessments at responsible locations
  • Maintain professional working relationships and collaborate with Business Partners from Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Real Estate, Workplace Services, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Transmission Project Management groups
  • Collaborate with Materials Management Team to maintain proper inventories for Transmission, Station, P&C, and Telecom facilities
  • Assist with Laydown Yard operations, including coordinating shipments/deliveries, processing electronic transactions, and assisting in off-loading, loading, and staging materials
  • Coordinate cycle inventory procedures, clear discrepancies, and maintain related records
  • Make recommendations for improving safety, operation, and utilization of storerooms and Laydown Yards
  • Monitor expenses and maintain cost-efficient operations, ensuring adherence to Lean and 6S practices
  • Direct use of materials management system and computer hardware/software for storerooms and Laydown Yards
  • Ensure proper Contracting procedures for Vendors and Service Providers in Laydown Yards
  • Identify training opportunities and support safety programs to promote accident-free culture
  • Support procedures complying with Corporate and Departmental policies, monitoring adherence
  • Support employees in identifying training needs for their development
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Transmission, Station, Protection & Controls, and Telecom representatives to ensure material availability
  • Demonstrate highest standards of ethical behavior and support Corporate Compliance Policy
