Requirements
Skilled and motivated Engineer
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines, Laydown Yard procedures, and Supply Chain policies and procedures
Understanding of materials management systems, computer hardware, and software
Familiarity with Lean and 6S practices
Knowledge of proper Contracting procedures for Vendors and Service Providers
Ability to conduct or assist with annual site assessments
Capability to coordinate cycle inventories, clear discrepancies, and maintain records
Responsibilities
Promote and support a Zero Harm culture and positive culture, demonstrating highest standards of ethical behavior and supporting Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy
Foster collaborative relationships with Transmission Business Partners to align materials with internal customer needs
Supervise full-time and Staff Augmentation employees, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines, Laydown Yard procedures, and Supply Chain policies
Conduct or assist with annual site assessments at responsible locations
Maintain professional working relationships and collaborate with Business Partners from Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Real Estate, Workplace Services, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Transmission Project Management groups
Collaborate with Materials Management Team to maintain proper inventories for Transmission, Station, P&C, and Telecom facilities
Assist with Laydown Yard operations, including coordinating shipments/deliveries, processing electronic transactions, and assisting in off-loading, loading, and staging materials
Coordinate cycle inventory procedures, clear discrepancies, and maintain related records
Make recommendations for improving safety, operation, and utilization of storerooms and Laydown Yards
Monitor expenses and maintain cost-efficient operations, ensuring adherence to Lean and 6S practices
Direct use of materials management system and computer hardware/software for storerooms and Laydown Yards
Ensure proper Contracting procedures for Vendors and Service Providers in Laydown Yards
Identify training opportunities and support safety programs to promote accident-free culture
Support procedures complying with Corporate and Departmental policies, monitoring adherence
Support employees in identifying training needs for their development
Maintain collaborative relationships with Transmission, Station, Protection & Controls, and Telecom representatives to ensure material availability
Demonstrate highest standards of ethical behavior and support Corporate Compliance Policy
