The pay for this position is between $29.75 to $42.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
This position works overnight 12-hour shifts, either 6 am-6 pm or 6 pm-6 am, on a rotating two-week schedule with a 3-day weekend off every other week. The role is based at the facility in Kansas City, KS.
Required skills include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, pump, pressure, and hydraulic equipment; understanding boiler theory, RETA Operator I, and IIAR Basic NH3 Refrigeration schematics. Candidates must pass a HAZ-Mat physical, get certified as an Emergency Responder Technician, and support training junior technicians.

Strong candidates have experience with ammonia refrigeration systems, can work with little supervision, perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, and are willing to lift up to 75 lbs and stand on hard surfaces.
