Requirements

One year of industrial experience in ammonia refrigeration, or equivalent U.S.-based certification from a technical school
At least six months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last twelve months (janitorial work and painting do not qualify as industrial maintenance)
Willingness to work any evening or overnight shift, overtime, and weekends if required
Ability to complete computerized training programs and use Tyson SAP software to document preventative maintenance
Ability to read and write for record-keeping purposes
Ability to use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. daily and stand for up to 12 hours
Willingness to complete all required job training
For previous Tyson employees: minimum 365-day rehire waiting period and limited to 3 times of employment

Responsibilities

Monitor, adjust, and maintain the operation of refrigeration systems, boiler, and pumping systems related to plant operation
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Complete and document preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by the supervisor using Tyson SAP software
