Requirements

  • Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System) tools
  • Ability to handle perishable, frozen, and imported products, including checking expiration dates, temperatures, and conditions
  • Coordination skills with security, purchases, and supervisors
  • Attention to product integrity, damage identification, and proper labeling/licensing
  • Participation in morning meetings and communication of anomalies or improvements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with security officer for provider truck entry based on scheduled appointments, adjusting for urgencies with prior coordination with Purchases
  • Perform truck receiving process using WMS, verifying product integrity, condition, and expiration dates for perishables before warehouse entry
  • Label incoming products with licenses to facilitate warehouse staff placement on racks
  • Check and verify customer returns, confirming quantities, condition, and expiration dates for proper warehouse storage
  • Verify marchamos (customs documents) for imported product containers and report anomalies to Warehouse Supervisor
  • Check container temperatures for frozen products to ensure quality and safety for storage
  • Constantly review product condition, relocate damaged items to designated area to avoid delivery errors
  • Update and complete assigned tasks in the WMS system
  • Communicate any product identification or condition anomalies to Warehouse Supervisor for modifications
  • Participate in morning meetings to report concerns or improvements
  • Collaborate on other tasks associated with the position as required by the area or company
