Requirements

Ability to execute repetitive and routine inspections, visual checks, and functional tests using sampling procedures and tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and inspection jigs
Knowledge of inspection plans, drawings/blueprints/specifications to ensure compliance of inbound material dimensions and critical characteristics
Ability to accurately record inspection data and applicable documentation
Up-to-date certifications and training requirements for the role
Availability to work 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm)

Responsibilities

Verify quality of inbound material per documented quality standards, Plexus, and customer requirements during Incoming Inspection
Inspect outbound material transferred inter-site or to customers to identify non-conforming parts and prevent defective product flow
Work closely with Supplier Quality Technicians and Engineers to ensure compliance with parts specifications and critical characteristics
Identify, segregate non-conformance/discrepant material and support purges and internal screening activities
Communicate with Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers on quality and/or documentation issues, keep supervisors informed, and escalate when needed
