Requirements

Candidates should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in UI or frontend development, with strong proficiency in React, React Native, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, preferably in eCommerce or SaaS environments. They must be proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript libraries like jQuery, as well as modern frameworks such as Vue.js and React. Experience with Shopify platform development, including headless Shopify websites, Shopify API, webhooks, and API call maintenance, is essential. Strong client collaboration skills for understanding project goals, translating briefs, presenting work, and incorporating feedback are required, along with proven ability to take ownership of sprint tasks in an Agile environment. Familiarity with Next.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, GraphQL, and Shopify APIs is also expected.

Responsibilities

The React Developer will collaborate with client success and engineering teams to efficiently develop Custom Blocks and React web apps for clients, ensuring a seamless user journey and enhancing the mobile app experience. Responsibilities include assisting clients in building and customizing apps using Tapcart App Studio, troubleshooting issues with Custom Blocks, and providing timely support. The developer will also understand client needs, offer expert advice on Custom Block customization, align app designs with Tapcart's capabilities and client goals, build and customize Custom Blocks and React.js apps, enhance app functionality and user experience, and mentor engineers on clean coding practices. Additionally, they will work closely with Tapcart’s engineering team to deliver Custom Blocks, report bugs, contribute to platform enhancements, stay current with mobile app development and React.js trends, and build strong relationships with merchants and partners.
