Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in engineering and/or IT, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience in engineering and/or IT
  • Ability to work on site with limited remote work opportunity
  • Ability to work first shift (~9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours/week) with minor adjustments if necessary

Responsibilities

  • Software troubleshooting and deployments to robotic hardware
  • Hardware repair, including replacing mechanical and electrical components with associated software work on Hugo robotic systems
  • Issue triaging
  • Associated documentation (80% of time on these core tasks)
  • Support tasks including documentation, general organization, and miscellaneous computer work (20% of time)
  • Represent the Fleet Management team in planning and strategy meetings, providing input on new product development and planning using knowledge of the Hugo system and components
  • Conduct debugging and support analysis of hardware and software issues to enable unimpeded use of Hugo Robotic systems by development teams
  • Maintain working knowledge of team needs and variants of hardware and software versions on each component
  • Create and update documentation related to hardware usage
  • Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot, and provide technical skills during research and/or product development
  • Design studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise
  • Additional tasks as assigned
