Requirements

Currently studying an Undergraduate Degree in Science, particularly Food/Health Science, Sensory & Consumer Science, or Psychology
In 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland), seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with university
Basic working knowledge of Statistical Analysis is preferable
Role must be suitable for placement year, starting July 2026

Responsibilities

Work on a wide range of consumer, sensory, and behaviour research projects across Consumer Healthcare categories (Oral Care, OTC, Wellness, depending on role)
Ensure all studies are completed according to relevant SOPs and compliance requirements, including documenting in the online study management system
Design and execute consumer research studies using appropriate methodologies (qualitative/quantitative/hybrid) to meet business objectives
Engage with people both internally and externally
Work with key stakeholders to get consumer studies approved
Manage timelines and communications with research agencies on critical study steps (e.g., release/shipment of test samples, recruitment of consumers, fieldwork)
