Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or related field
  • Master’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field
  • Statistical analysis and design of experiments
  • Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques
  • Development and design of novel semiconductor or quantum devices (understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes)
  • Semiconductor device physics
  • Experience with Python and SQL (preferred)
  • Reporting and documentation of test results
  • Cryogenic test equipment operation

Responsibilities

  • Investigate device failures through materials characterization techniques
  • Organize, update, and summarize test results
  • Utilize databases to extract critical information and statistical data analysis
  • Communicate technical findings through oral and written reports
