Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • At least 3 years QA Engineering experience
  • Proven expertise in testing tools such as Selenium3, TestNG, JUnit, Grid, Cucumber BDD framework, Maven, HP Quick Test Professional (QTP), and Unified Functional Testing (UFT/QTP)
  • Experience in VB Script (QTP) and JavaScript
  • New development utilizing technologies such as Java, Python, VB, SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers
  • Proven experience in creating test frameworks using technologies above
  • Experience using GitLab/GitHub for source control and development
  • Proven experience in test plan creation, test case design, test case review, test case execution, defect management, and preparing test reports
  • Proficient using Zephyr for test planning, execution, and defect tracking
  • Knowledge and experience using SOAP services testing and tools used such as Ready API/SoapUI Pro
  • Strong knowledge of the entire SDLC – Requirement gathering & analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Working knowledge of agile technologies and continuous integration/delivery
  • Solve technical challenges which will result in shortening test cycles, increase product speed to market and improve the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization
  • Strong research skills in identifying internal incidents, root cause analysis, and customer incident information documents outlining customer reported issues and documenting such
  • Good verbal and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
  • Roll out designed processes to augment testing efforts and contribute to CI readiness
  • Experience with security testing with Burp etc
  • Experience testing in a cloud environment e.g. AWS or Azure
  • Understanding of the Windows Server ecosystem
  • CI/CD - Continuous Integration Software (GitHub/Jenkins), Deployments, Scripting Languages
  • Logical, thorough and task-focused, with an eye for detail, able to rapidly absorb and apply technical information
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with fellow team members and all levels of management
  • Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, and across different time zones
  • Experience in working in Big Data is a plus
  • Must be willing to work on a night shift (10am-6pm)
  • Must be willing to follow BU

Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and develop test plans, test cases, and test data
  • Create and execute test scripts, analyze, and record results (manual and automated testing)
  • Support different maintenance activities and product deliveries
  • Ensure that adequate test coverage is provided
  • Identify defects/anomalies and investigate their root cause. Document and track these defects
  • Assist fellow team members in resolving technical issues
  • Contribute to improving the QA process and quality standards
  • Recommend improvements or corrections to developers or system analysts
  • Work with Developers, Product Owners, Product Analysts and other test team members to complete testing tasks
  • Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained throughout the software release cycle
  • Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements
  • Determine testing tools that can be implemented to aid QA and maximize testing coverage
  • Planning, design, and execution of manual and automated test scripts
  • Work closely with senior managers, product analysts, developers and with other Quality Test Engineers/Analysts in the team
  • Performing end-to-end Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities for the project
