Requirements

At least one year experience in quality in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience with calibration of test equipment, operation of test equipment, and root cause/corrective action skills
“Get it done” attitude and urgency to resolve problems/tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Working knowledge of products and their quality requirements
Reliable, good initiative, committed, and quality focused
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
Ability to perform repetitious duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time
Ability to work quickly while maintaining high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Willing and flexible to work overtime when needed (2nd shift: 3pm-11pm)

Responsibilities

Conducting required off-line testing for products
Ensuring all customer feedbacks are completed on-time, root cause is identified and implemented
Assisting in analyzing all customer feedbacks for trends and continuous improvement
Involved in corrective action and preventive action process
Assisting in process capability studies as deemed necessary
Assisting and/or train plant personnel in GIQ quality system
Assisting in maintaining customer property
Assisting in maintaining process for document control
Documenting COA’s, COC’s as required
Defining quality concepts and quality processes, including statistical basics; applies quality tools; interprets information and data; applies team concepts
Understanding and applying basic inspection and testing techniques, including various types of sampling plans
Understanding and applying various quality audit types and their components, tools, and techniques
Problem solving to ensure quality expectations of every customer (internal and external)
Measuring critical product/process variables, records or reports using appropriate tools and utilizing information to continuously improve
Full authority to stop the operation and seek assistance if processes are outside established limits or specifications
