Requirements

  • Attention to Detail: Able to follow clear processes and spot defects accurately during production
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Comfortable working through issues and finding practical solutions to keep things moving
  • Good Communication: Can explain problems clearly to team members, suppliers, and other departments
  • Technical Understanding: Able to read engineering drawings and use basic computer tools like Excel and PowerPoint to log and report issues
  • Previous supervisory experience, ideally within a production or quality environment (preferred)
  • Experience using hand measuring tools such as CMM and Faro Arm (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Following and encouraging safe working practices to help keep the work area safe and productive
  • Spotting and investigating defects using clear processes to make sure products meet quality standards
  • Reporting problems clearly to team leaders and suppliers so they can be sorted quickly
  • Working with others to share information and solve quality issues together
  • Using problem-solving skills to fix issues and help improve how things are done
  • Recording defects and tracking repairs using the computer system to make sure nothing gets missed
  • Leading a small team of Auditors and Quality Technicians to support quality across the production area
