Extensive Experience in Quality Management (interprets quantitative/statistical tools, communicates benefits, conducts quality reviews, develops expertise in QA tools/techniques/standards, develops QA processes based on Six Sigma/ISO 9000/Baldrige, develops motivation programs)
Extensive Experience in Collaborating (engenders collaborative processes for problem-solving/business goals, establishes shared goals, ensures data access/input, redesigns areas for collaboration, focuses on cross-group collaboration, implements ad-hoc decision-making methods)
Knowledge of Influencing

Responsibilities

Lead Incoming quality function for engine and gensets
Oversee the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems
Deliver defect-free parts to engine and genset assembly line by implementing right incoming inspection processes
Develop a quality plan for each part
Work with Supplier quality engineers to ensure parts arriving at facility are defect-free
Complete a risk assessment for all parts coming to facility and develop an incoming inspection strategy
Develop right quality gates to ensure parts presented to line are defect-free
Support development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products
Lead the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets
Investigate and address trends with internal and external non-conformance
Lead, manage and develop multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and inspectors to assure that quality standards are met
Drive change based on data; review reports with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues
