  • Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/maintaining CI/CD environments
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and report quality metrics to stakeholders and management
  • Skills in setting up and maintaining test environments representative of production
  • Understanding of compliance with industry standards, best practices, and updates in software testing methodologies and tools
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with developers, product managers, stakeholders, and participation in agile ceremonies
  • Capability in risk management, including identifying risks, mitigation strategies, and risk-based testing
  • Experience coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation and providing training on testing tools and processes

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medium-high complexity testing tasks as part of a team, influence collaborative meetings with peers and stakeholders, interact to create requirements and demonstrate work, document testing and outcomes, and follow established software product engineering practices related to testing (enterprise scope)
  • Perform other assigned job-related duties aligning with the organization's vision, mission, values, and scope of practice
  • Develop and implement test plans, cases, and scripts based on software requirements and specifications, including defining scope, objectives, resources, and tools
  • Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools like Gitlab or ALM; collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, provide detailed reports, and verify fixes
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing; analyze results and identify bottlenecks or performance issues
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and rapid feedback; monitor and maintain the CI/CD environment
  • Collect and analyze quality metrics to assess software quality and testing effectiveness; prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders and management
  • Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, ensuring they are representative of production
  • Ensure software testing processes comply with industry standards and best practices; stay up to date with changes in methodologies and tools
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Identify and assess potential risks to software quality, implement mitigation strategies, and conduct risk-based testing
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users; gather and address feedback
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, cases, and scripts; provide training and support to team members on testing tools, processes, and best practices
