Responsibilities

Assist in developing automated test cases for backend services, RESTful APIs endpoints, and frontend components using Webdriver.IO, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
Support contract testing efforts (e.g., Pact) under guidance from senior engineers to ensure API compatibility
Execute functional, integration, regression, and basic performance tests for Node.js/Express.js applications and PostgreSQL database interactions
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker) with support from the DevOps team
Participate in infrastructure validation for AWS ECS Fargate, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, and CloudFormation deployments
Assist in accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards, ARIA roles, and automated audits (axe-core)
Collaborate with frontend teams using React.js and Material-UI to ensure smooth API consumption and UI quality
Document test results, defects, and compliance evidence for audit readiness
Learn and apply observability practices (logs, metrics, traces) using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
