Candidates should possess at least 2 years of professional test automation experience, with expertise in API and UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or JUnit. Fluency in at least one of Javascript, Typescript, Python, or Java is required, along with a strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems. In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies within a software company with short release cycles, experience writing test cases covering edge/negative cases, compatibility, and concurrency tests, and hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL are also necessary.
The Quality Engineer will participate in the development of in-house automated and functional test scripts and tooling, working collaboratively with Platform, Product, DevOps, and other teams to deploy and run automated tests on test environments within a CI/CD pipeline. They will provide timely test result feedback to relevant stakeholders, participate in technical planning, code review, and architectural decision-making, and contribute to enhancing software quality, accelerating defect detection and prevention, and transforming the software development process.
