Position Overview

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in Web UI test automation. As a UI SDET, you will collaborate closely with Quality Assurance Engineers and UI Engineers within the NG-SIEM Product Group to ensure optimal testing and the release of the highest quality product. UI SDETs at CrowdStrike are instrumental in building frameworks, libraries, and tooling for UI testing. You will be responsible for creating automated end-to-end UI tests for our Falcon product, driving innovation, inspiration, and the future of product testing. Responsibilities

• Strategically think about test automation and drive quality within your team and across the organization.
• Verify component, system integration, and application-level features and functionality to ensure our standards for reliability, accuracy, and performance are met.
• Conduct 'manual' / Exploratory Testing using a risk-based approach.
• Automate test processes for speed, reproducibility, scalability, and reporting.
• Build elegant, robust, and reliable solutions for complex technical problems.
• Review engineering technical design documents and requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering to create plans and strategies for building in testability.
• Build reliable and easily consumable tools, frameworks, and environments for personal and peer use.
• Contribute to existing tools, frameworks, and related solutions.
• Increase and improve our automated test coverage.
• Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy.
• Collaborate with UI Engineering to determine the root cause of issues and add automation quality improvements to prevent future problems.
• Create and maintain test infrastructure.
• Build the frameworks and packages required to implement automation.
