  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in languages other than English (particularly Thai, Vietnamese, Czech, Slovak, or Hungarian)
  • Background in encoding video for the web
  • Understanding of various video codecs, notably H.264

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze video and audio files for visual and auditory defects (e.g., pixelation, audio sync issues, color correction errors)
  • Verify subtitles accuracy
  • Log and document quality issues, generating QC reports and flagging critical errors for immediate attention
  • Act as mentor to less experienced quality control technicians
  • Contribute to special projects
