Requirements

Hold a degree in chemistry (preferred) or chemical engineering
Minimum 2 years’ experience in QC in chemical manufacturing
Sufficient in written and spoken English
Proficient in MS Office applications
SAP QA module for quality control is an advantage
Proactive, good analytical skills, and strong decision making
Good time management by delivering accurate analytical data on time
Positive cooperation and interpersonal skills to communicate with people in different cultures
Outgoing personality and result-oriented
Preference for candidates currently residing in Dong Nai Province
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Follow QC procedures and work instructions to ensure quality of raw materials and finished goods meets product specifications by conducting all required tests, with safety and compliance to lab and safety standards
Conduct chemical and/or physical tests on raw materials and finished products using standard QC methods and procedures
Test and release raw materials meeting manufacturing specifications for production use
Conduct QC testing for each product prior to release for sale
Monitor quality control for retained samples and returned products from customer complaints or business requirements
Operate equipment according to standard working procedures in HMV, ISO database, and QC database
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of QC tools/equipment as per yearly schedule
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and document control, including in SAP, manual records (e.g., in-process QC records), and equipment calibration
Ensure adequate supply of laboratory consumables
Maintain equipment according to schedule and prioritize daily activities
Work closely with production team to provide advice on batch adjustments, recognize abnormal process conditions, and participate in corrections
Update test data into QA SAP module as a SAP QA user and submit to QA/QC Team Leader for approval to release for use or sale
Manage and monitor Block, Slow, and Expiry stock, reporting to QA/QC Team Leader for decisions
Submit on-time monthly QC performance reports to QA/QC Team Leader
Comply with ISO QC procedures, working instructions, and propose reviews/updates if necessary
Demonstrate understanding and support for Quality Department in maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
Actively contribute to department and factory-wide improvement initiatives
Participate in continuous improvements to manufacturing processes
