  • Food/Beverage manufacturing experience a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Quality Assurance Management team
  • Achieve quality assurance operational objectives
  • Perform tests at specified stages in the production process (e.g., temperature, defects, code dates); record results, review records and reports for accuracy and completion
  • Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
  • Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
  • Complete special projects assigned
  • Conduct quality analysis of incoming dry goods for production; verify specifications before startup and throughout production processes
  • Problem solve on quality issues with production and other teams
  • Document key metrics for data analysis; maintain calibration and logs of all laboratory instruments
  • Perform general analysis and sampling of production samples; collect retention samples
  • Monitor all quality assurance and food safety activities and carry out corrections for improving quality departmental functions
  • Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process
  • Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
