Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience of five years or more in quality assurance for embedded systems
  • Strong understanding of software basics, including Python, C/C++, and bash scripting
  • Solid knowledge of the embedded devices manufacturing process
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for embedded systems quality assurance
  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance efforts across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment
  • Design and implement quality control processes and KPIs (e.g., FPY) to measure and improve product performance
  • Maintain and analyze quality databases to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and enforce QA policies and procedures to ensure consistent standards
  • Oversee manufacturing and quality documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformance events
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits to uphold quality standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their product and process quality
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables from subcontractors, including conducting design reviews and black-box testing evaluations
  • Lead training initiatives to promote quality awareness and efficiency across teams
  • Coordinate with global Mujin teams to align quality practices and resolve region-specific issues promptly
