Responsibilities

  • Manual Testing: Manually test features and defects assigned within a development squad.
  • Requirements Analysis: Attend design and requirements meetings for assigned tasks, collaborating with Product and Development teams to understand new code implementations.
  • Test Case Development & Automation: Create, execute, and automate test cases for assigned issues.
  • Documentation: Document test cases in Testrail and track issues using Jira.
  • Automation Maintenance: Maintain and enhance the existing automated testing platform and associated software components.
  • Edge Case Identification: Utilize creativity and thoughtfulness to define edge cases within automated tests for comprehensive coverage.

Requirements

  • Manual Testing Experience: Proven experience in manual software testing and test case documentation.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in writing code using Java, Selenium, or Python.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with creating queries for SQL or other relational databases.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Version Control: Facility with version control systems, specifically Git.

Desired Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with the TestNG automation framework and the Page Object Model.
  • Familiarity with Maven and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, SSL, REST, JSON, and XML.
  • Previous experience maintaining an automated test suite.
