Requirements

  • Completed university degree in technical or medical engineering field, or comparable training, plus initial professional experience in supplier quality or comparable position
  • Knowledge of basic regulations in the medical technology industry (e.g., MDD 93/42/EWG, MPG, 21 CFR 820, DIN EN ISO 13485, MDR 2017/745) or other regulated industries (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills, especially with suppliers and internal interfaces
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Experience as an auditor (advantageous)

Responsibilities

  • Act as contact person for internal and external supplier issues, e.g., customer problems and problem-solving (CAPA/SCAR process)
  • Conduct improvement activities, e.g., following detected non-conformities at suppliers
  • Evaluate reported root causes and initiate further internal and external measures
  • Independently perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., DIN EN ISO 13485/ISO 9001) for products and services
  • Support supplier management and supplier development
