Requirements

Completed university degree in technical or medical engineering field, or comparable training, plus initial professional experience in supplier quality or comparable position
Knowledge of basic regulations in the medical technology industry (e.g., MDD 93/42/EWG, MPG, 21 CFR 820, DIN EN ISO 13485, MDR 2017/745) or other regulated industries (desirable)
Strong communication skills, especially with suppliers and internal interfaces
Good German and English language skills
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Experience as an auditor (advantageous)

Responsibilities

Act as contact person for internal and external supplier issues, e.g., customer problems and problem-solving (CAPA/SCAR process)
Conduct improvement activities, e.g., following detected non-conformities at suppliers
Evaluate reported root causes and initiate further internal and external measures
Independently perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., DIN EN ISO 13485/ISO 9001) for products and services
Support supplier management and supplier development
