Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (candidates with QC experience in a similar industry also considered)
  • Previous experience in QC testing within a similar manufacturing environment (strong advantage)
  • Preferably prior experience in a GMP or laboratory setting
  • Preferably experience in raw material and/or water testing, identification by FTIR, or wet chemistry techniques, Karl Fischer analysis, HPLC, UPLC
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and interact effectively with all levels of the company

Responsibilities

  • Perform raw material and finished goods release testing according to standard operating procedures in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct key tasks including raw material sampling and testing, water sampling and testing, identification by FTIR, basic wet chemistry techniques, Karl Fischer analysis, HPLC, UPLC
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of equipment
  • Provide support to initiate and implement validation processes, technical investigations, and improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the preparation of written reports as required
  • Maintain thorough and complete product test records per in-house testing procedures and in accordance with ISO 13485 standards
  • May perform other related duties
  • Liaise extensively with other departments within the operational department, customers, and external labs
